Superintendent
As a superintendent, you will supervise the daily progress of all projects under your responsibility. More specifically, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and coordinating, through the general superintendent and subcontractors.
You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge to a wide variety of tasks, while ensuring that costs, deadlines, and quality requirements are met.
- Organize the mapping activities that concern you, keep your work agenda up to date and coordinate the work agendas of your department
- Attend meetings assigned to you
- Participate in mobilization
- Identify the production resource needs of the assigned project
- Conduct daily site tours and complete daily reports
- Maintain short-term project schedule
- See to the supplies required for the project
- Ensure the receipt of goods and supplies required for the project
- Complete the deficiencies list
- Close site
Qualifications and skills required
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in the construction, civil engineering and/or equivalent field
- Training and in-depth knowledge of the construction industry
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Valid driver's license
- Good experience in personnel management
- Computer skills
- Knowledge of standards (quality, environment, and safety)
- Experience with ERP software (an asset)
- Good priorities management
- Ability to manage, mobilize, and develop a work team
- Adequate verbal and written communication skills in French
- Bilingualism (an asset)

Construction Project Manager / Estimator
As a construction project manager, you will coordinate the completion of construction projects (planning, organizing, leading, controlling), while ensuring that the company's objectives: costs, quality, and deadlines are met.
- Organize the mapping activities that concern you and keep your work agenda up to date
- Attend meetings that are assigned to you
- Carry out all estimating process steps
- Prepare project documentation required for contract signature
- Coordinate project transition from estimating to implementation
- Assemble site binder
- Assemble engineering drawing packages, special procedures, and schedules
- Oversee planning of project production resources
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with our partners and clients
- Organize project start-up meeting
- Participate in follow-up of purchase orders and subcontractor administration
- Monitor projects and ongoing planning
- Request monthly payment and end-of-project holdback
- Negotiate changes in guidelines, extras, and deficiencies
- Perform final approvals
Qualifications and skills required
- University degree or college diploma in architecture or engineering (building or civil) or equivalent experience
- Member of a professional order (an asset)
- 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction project management and construction management
- Relevant experience in project management/estimation in Quebec
- PMP certification or interest in obtaining this certification (an asset)
- Working knowledge of BIM approach or interest in obtaining this certification (an asset)
- Experience with ERP business management software
- Good knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and provincial and municipal regulations
- Flawless written and spoken French
- Bilingualism (an asset)
